World
The world is divided into three distinct island regions: a forest area called
Nobilis, a snowy region named Torva, and a ruin known as Tenebris. Each of these
regions has its own unique style and is home to various enemies that fit the
atmosphere of their respective environments. These regions are connected by bridges,
but the bridges are blocked by gates that Ando can unlock using keys found
throughout his journey.
Village
The village is characterized by simple half-timbered houses that provide a warm
contrast to the dark atmosphere of the Nobilis forest. Here, Ando should feel secure
and at home. In the center of the village stands an impressive tavern where
villagers and travelers from different cultures gather. The villagers are ready to
provide Ando with useful information about the world and offer him advice to help
him on his adventure. Next to one of the half-timbered houses, a merchant has set up
his shop, where Ando can purchase upgrades for his armor. Nearby, next to a barracks
for the village guards, lives an experienced blacksmith. There, Ando can upgrade his
sword for gold and iron. Before he sets off, an old man awaits Ando, entrusting him
with the task of defeating Manus. With this mission, Ando’s adventure begins.
Nobilis
Nobilis is overgrown with a dense forest. Some dangers await Ando here, such as
goblins that attack anyone who comes near their camp and highwaymen who prey on
unsuspecting travelers. Nevertheless, these challenges present Ando with the
opportunity to loot enemies' camps and gather gold. Menacing Taurus demons guard the
larger goblin camps, which contain the keys to the gate leading to Torva. To
continue his journey to Tenebris, Ando must obtain these keys. Next to the gate to
Torva stands a powerful camp established by Goldrin, the ruler of Nobilis and King
of Men. He is accompanied by loyal knights who defend the gates to Tenebris.
Torva
Upon arriving in Torva, Ando is welcomed by a camp run by a blacksmith and a
merchant, allowing him to replenish supplies and upgrade his equipment. Rejuvenated,
Ando finds himself in the snow-covered area of Torva, characterized by dead trees
and cold stones. A long path, illuminated by torches, leads to the next gate to
Tenebris. Along the way, Ando encounters minions enslaved by dwarves who are forced
to mine iron. Further along the path, he discovers two dwarf camps, which hold two
of the keys to Tenebris. In one of these camps, Ando meets Balduir, who rules over
Lapis, a small part of Torva, with an iron fist. Behind a massive mountain rises a
giant ruby, guarded by Aldin and his knights. It is said that this ruby grants
power, which is why Aldin and his knights guard it so fiercely. The third key is
hidden in a small, inconspicuous camp guarded by Komis.
Tenebris
Finally, Ando arrives at Tenebris, which was once a magnificent city until Manus, the
ruler of darkness, made a pact with Angel, who promised him incredible power.
However, consumed by this power, Manus was overtaken by rage and destroyed the city
of Tenebris. His knights now roam as undead through the ruins of what were once
splendid buildings. Here, Ando faces the final confrontation with Manus, leading to
a battle that will determine his fate and the fate of the world.
